Carlos & Gabby’s – Lawrence / Cedarhurst, NY

Dani Klein from http://YeahThatsKosher.com check out the Kosher Mexican restaurant Carlos & Gabby’s in the 5 Towns. In a few short years, Carlos & Gabby’s moved into this larger location, and expanded into a few restaurants across the NYC area.
Apparently there was a void in the kosher Mexican food market. But don’t get me wrong, the food is good!

Al Galope – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Dani Klein from http://yeahthatskosher.com checks out kosher restaurants for Jewish Travel TV.

Al Galope is a traditional Argentinian Steakhouse, advertised in non-Jewish travel guides to Buenos Aires. The meat portions were large and plentiful. As Americans we loved the Argentinian chimmichuri sauce, and were confused by their lack of ketchup (even for our fritas / fries)! The one setback to the restaurant was the service. Enjoy this great video!

Schnitzel Express is a fairly new nice fast food place walking distance to Times Square that specializes in really good chicken sandwiches, aka schnitzel. If you’re hungry in midtown, definitely check them out.

SushiKo – Los Angeles, CA

Dani Klein from http://yeahthatskosher.com checks out kosher restaurants for Jewish Travel TV.

SushiKo is a modern sushi restaurant right in the heart of the Jewish community of Los Angeles on Pico Blvd. The sushi is outstanding, and there are TV screens which allow you to watch the chefs making your sushi live. Highly recommended.

Wafflemania – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Wafflemania is a small breakfast place in the Once neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. While they ironically did not have any waffles for us to try, the dulce de leche mini croissants were unbelievable!

Dani Klein from http://yeahthatskosher.com checks out kosher restaurants for Jewish Travel TV. Dani is joined by Ben Brandler for this review.

Jeff’s Gourmet Sausage Factory on Pico Blvd in LA is a unique fast food joint that offers a variety of sausages (which remind me of extra long hot dogs) with crazy toppings and flavors. Check them out at: http://www.jeffsgourmet.com

Kosher McDonalds – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Dani Klein from http://yeahthatskosher.com checks out kosher restaurants for Jewish Travel TV.

This is the only Kosher McDonalds in the world outside of Israel. Buenos Aires is known for it’s meat and the McDonald’s does not disappoint. Totally different flavors than what we’re used to in the U.S., but the kosher McDonalds is definitely worth the visit.

What’s crazy about this place is that the Abasto Mall is open super late just for the restaurants. The kosher McDonalds is open until 2am. I love it.

Kosher Subway – Los Angeles, CA

Dani Klein from http://yeahthatskosher.com checks out kosher restaurants for Jewish Travel TV.

Subway is a deli restaurant chain that is popular for its freshly baked bread and meat subs. We checked out one of the kosher Subways in the U.S., this one on Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA. They offer a variety of different breads, meats, vegetables, and sauces. They’re also open late which makes them quite convenient.
